I’m originally from Bournemouth in the UK, where I spent seven years working as a bricklayer before getting into recruitment. A mate suggested I give it a go, knowing my experience in the trades would give me a good understanding of the industry.

It turned out to be a great move, progressing from trainee recruiter to Senior Recruiter in just eight months and becoming the company’s top performer along the way.

At Clarity, I specialise in civil construction and mining recruitment, working with local civil construction businesses and mining clients to source skilled blue-collar workers.

I recruit across a range of trades and operational roles, including carpenters, plumbers, electricians, boilermakers, drainers, formworkers, crane operators, riggers, scaffolders and plant operators.

Having spent seven years working as a bricklayer myself, I understand the industry and the people who work in it. What I enjoy most about recruitment is helping candidates find work and getting clients the people they need. I like a challenge, enjoy chatting to different people every day and appreciate being part of a team that pushes each other to do their best.

Outside of work, I’m a big Arsenal fan, spend plenty of time at the gym and enjoy socialising with friends and my girlfriend. Friday beers after a good week are always a bonus.
