About the Role

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic resources business at an exciting stage of its growth, contributing to the financial integrity and reporting that support its ongoing operations.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a first mover looking to make the transition from professional services into industry. • Monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support statutory reporting, audit requirements and relevant tax compliance activities.
  • Investigate discrepancies and financial variances, providing clear and accurate information to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial processes, reporting systems and internal controls.
  • Provide general accounting support to the wider finance team as required.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • CA or CPA qualified, or working towards completion.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, including month-end processes, reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using financial or ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet competing deadlines.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business.

Why This Role

  • Earn a competitive salary of $120,000–$130,000 in a full-time position.
  • Benefit from a bonus scheme in addition to your base salary.
  • Transition from professional services into industry and gain exposure to the gold mining sector.
  • Enjoy a convenient Perth CBD and inner-suburbs location close to public transport and local amenities.
